About Us

Safety, Hope and Care in the Heart of our Community

Community House is a unique local facility for children, young people and adults to meet and share. It is not institutionally based but follows the concept of family life like visiting friends. The activities are informal and person centred. We are a vibrant, happy place filled with respect, compassion and confidence, where aspirations and friendships are fostered and thrive.

Community House’s vision is for a safer, stronger and more cohesive community, with opportunities for self-development and growth being accessible by all members of our community; to work to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Bowmar area of Alloa.

The family atmosphere that is fostered in Community House provides that safe place for all.

Raising self-esteem, self-confidence and aspirations

Community House is situated in an area of high deprivation in the town of Alloa, Clackmannanshire. The aim of the project is to build positive relationships throughout the community by raising self-esteem, self-confidence and aspirations through a wide range of activities. We provide a free service to the community and rely on vital fundraising efforts to sustain our work.
